Waterproof Barrier
Our box spring encasement features impermeable TPU backing that provides protection on all 6 sides of the mattress. Generally preferable for allergy sufferers, this box spring encasement let you sleep comfortably at night without the worry of runny eyes or stuffy noses. Dust mites are microscopic creatures, invisible to eyes that majorly causes these allergies or asthma. They lay on the dark environment as mattress or pillows and feed on human skins and makes the situation worst. Our encasement provides an impervious cover that keeps skin cells out of mattress to act as a barrier against allergens and dust mites.

Care instructions
Hand wash or machine wash separately in cool to warm water, using a mild detergent (free from any bleach). Make sure your encasement is unzipped with waterproof backing facing in.
Please do not use any solvents or bleach, bleach alternatives, non-chlorine bleach or any bleach by-products in the detergent, as this will damage the waterproof backing. Avoid using harsh chemical as it reduces the absorbency of the material.
Tumble dry on a low heat with bed sheets or other clothing or air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

This is the first time that my child has brought home bed bugs while going to the parks in Orlando. Those pests had 2 months to reproduce before we figured out what was causing the marks on my daughter (after bringing her to a dermatologist who said it was allergies!!)  I am now a bed bug expert after about 60+ hours of working crazily in her room and we are 110% bed bug free. First, DO NOT buy foggers. I used all 3 of these in her small room and when I went back into her room to get the empty canisters, they were all walking around!! Also, DO NOT get the Bug traps to put by the foot of each bed pedestal. They don’t capture anything and when her room was filled with them, none went in it!!!  THIS IS THE ONLY thing that worked for me. (1) Diatomaceous Earth (“DE”) powder with puffer, Harris Bed Bug Killer gallon SPRAY and Harris Egg Bed Bug Killer FOAM (about $9.00). Home Depot actually sells the Harris Bed Bug Kit that contains some of the above so I would buy the kit first. However, I used 4 cans of the FOAM so make sure you buy more foam cans. Since they do not sell the foam cans at the store, order more ahead of time! THAT REALLY IS THE BEST. I also bought and used a $49.00 Hand steamer they sell at Walmart and steamed the wooden planks, mattress and box spring. I then used bed bug encasements that I purchased on Amazon to encase both of them so the bugs cannot go in and cannot get out!! Those encasements really work.

I recently found bed bugs in my daughter’s room and immediately began the process of cleaning it all out. We have done pretty well so far but still have found a few more in the weeks following treatments (and yes I know this is going to take time). In order to ensure that the problem does not spread to the rest of the house, I have begun to treat all rooms with beds, therefore, I needed to get a cover for my king size Tempur-Pedic bed, and a full-size? one for her bed. I originally bought the inexpensive plastic covers but realized my mistake when I kept finding rips on it (see photo) so I decided I needed something much more sturdy and able to deal with the chaos of family and pets. This is just amazing! I was worried that because of the value of it, it would be low quality and cheaply made, but I was so wrong. This encasement is made of 100% polyester knitted fabric that is not only waterproof but tear resistant. This has some stretch to it and is completely secured by a zipper on the top of one side. I was particularly happy to see that this has the velcro closing on top of the zipper to ensure little bugs do not get in.It was very easy to install and the material is very soft to the touch. In addition, this does not make a sound when you move, huge difference from my cheap plastic one. I must note that I accidentally ordered the boxspring encasement instead of the mattress one, but thankfully it works perfectly.So glad I got this, most definitely recommend to anybody wanting some bug, or waterproof protection for your boxspring or mattress. This will keep bed bugs from entering your box spring and also from leaving any you zip up inside. Unfortunately it won’t discourage them from hanging out around the sheet itself. This isn’t the companies fault that’s just how most encasement are. It is defiantly a good thing to have just understand that it doesn’t scare them away, it only protects your mattresses / box springs from housing them.  I do think it’s interesting that the box spring encasement is cheaper than a mattress encasement, I have bought both. They seem exactly the same.In theory, you could use this on a mattress as well as a box spring. So… if you are looking to save some money, just buy this instead. It will sag a little but just tuck it in, works just fine. Keep an eye on it though. Bed Bugs will hang out around the outside and you need to keep them away so they don’t try to infest the outside of the encasement which can cause damage if not kept in check. All this being said though, I do recommend this product.
